Do you know what gets me this year is? Well known anglers photo graphing every fish they catch. This is now getting into mainstream Barbel fishing also...
I have paired my FS 15 up with SS2600. Really balances it out well. I like the bigger spool, carbon drag and winding power better than than a 4000D that I used. Only had half a dozen barbel so far and they are staying on the rods.
I have had both these reels, they are great reels 100%. However if I was spending that type of money, then I'd have the Thunnus 6000/8000. Absolutely bomb proof.
I had a 13.12 off the tidal and a few smaller ones last week. I ga e them a fair bit of stick. The FS 15s certainly bend a bit. Would love to get a photo of them in action, landing a double.
Sure its just the spool capacity that's different Ray, between to the 6 and 8000, the body is identical. We will soon find out that's for 👍. If correct 6000 will be fine..most places you only need 60yds on max.
