Totally agree with you Bill.
If someone can't be bothered to buy a rod licence, turns up on June 16th to there favourite stretch only to find fish floating belly up due to polution, what's the first phone call they're going to make ????

Rang the EA on Tuesday to complain at my 5 withdrawals and was told to send a copy of my bank statement showing the 5 debits to:

Double check with your bank, each time I tried on line an error message appeared telling me to re try or ue another card....5 attempts cost me £135 !!!!
Conrad, I bought mine on line last season and waited over 3 months for it to arrive!!
On another note I don't think ive been asked to produce my license for about 3 seasons now.

Attempted to buy one on line this morning.
Each time i submitted my card details i was told there was an error, please try again or contact your card provider......
Tried 5 times, got fed up then rang my bank to find out what the problem was.....only to be told the £27 transaction had gone...
I've just read an article about the world carp record being broken which now stands at 94lbs!!! :eek:
The fish appers to be in great condition, but where does it end???
Personally on the rivers i fish filling it in is a total waste of time...summer and winter.
I dont even get through 5kg's of boilies and pellets in 2 seasons fishing!!!
This time of year when the water is cold i use either 2 or 3 half boilies on a very small stringer with the hookbait wrapped...
