Daiwa released the basia barbel rod, finally, they update the rod with Fuji sic guides. But the price is insane…

Thats a lot. Great blank though.Daiwa released the basia barbel rod, finally, they update the rod with Fuji sic guides. But the price is insane…
I think the opposite might happen Alan.Just watch those older model prices drop now
Ps. I thought a change was iminent as ultings have been discounting the originals for a while. This was the reason in the end why I did not pursue the Kent 6.I think the opposite might happen Alan.
I always blank anyway Barry, but a nice rod alleviates the pain! Ha.At that price does it find the best swims for you![]()
Quite agree Jon.Agree Rich - this constant rhetoric that all rods must be 12ft, then occasionally 11ft drives me potty.
I'm using 10ft's on small rivers and 11.6 in other places.
Anyone bought one ? Can't decide between the X45X or the original X45 as a retirement present to myself.![]()
Back in covid days total fishing tackle ran an auction on ebay. As the only bidder I won a new basia barbel 2.75 for 159.99 delivered. Used it a couple of times, far too powerful for my needs. Sold it. Sorry for long story but the blank was the dogs nuts. Always wanted a less powerful one, watched the uttings listing for months. But at 81 got to be sensible, hence sold my torrix's last year . But the barbel x 45 blank was the best I ever used. I have had most too before u ask. Would have one tomorrow. I am still bidding on rods. A 2 1/4 or 1.7/5 at not silly money and its mine! But the only hesitation for me is that as a 2 piece its very hard to sell due to carriage costs. Not fair to apply but silly to ignore. Thus I tend to look at 3 pce now.
