Centerpin reel angling channel on youtube?

I liked the video Ian, good work (I personally dont mind long ones but I do watch live match videos too so thats probably why). How you swap hands to bat the line back is eye opening, I think id put myself in a tangle. 😂 I do need to practice that cast too. I also need to learn how to play fish without the ratchet, as soon as I get a bite I click it on.

Thanks Tim 🙂👍.

I also watch match videos (Clive Branson) and I enjoy watching someone fish, not just catch, so for me the longer videos are better than edited highlights. I suppose you could do both ? Keep up the good work Ian.

Awesome, Ian.

I need some kind of long sleeve top like that, don’t suppose you can remember where it’s from?

Thanks Tim.

Yes, those sun protection hoody tops are brilliant. They have a built in snood which pulls up under your eyes and over your ears and neck, and also a hood to cover the top of your head.
I got them from Temu and they vary in price from 6 to 15 or so quid.
The price will drop if you add them to your watchlist.
I really can't fault them at all, they are super comfy and most importantly they protect you from the sun!
If you check them out on Temu there are lots of different colours and patterns to choose from 👍.

You inspired me to again try to capture some of my centrepin fishing on video (for Instagram & Facebook). It doesn't always work out the way I planned!

Did a bit better with subsequent attempts.

Still just with my phone propped up behind me so a single view point throughout. The first 10mins of this video is a single clip (the chub were ravenous), last 2mins added from the original huge 58mins file (GB's!).

No sound on that last one, deleted the audio track, too much noise from the nearby road and the blustery wind. I've been playing around with separately recording commentary but that just takes too much time and effort for me.

I'm looking at action cameras but will not spend the amount some are asking for. Appears to be plenty of options from cheap to extortionate but preferably will have decent video/audio output including remote control, shielded mic options and accompanying Android App connectivity.

Earlier in the Spring, I watched a lone guy making videos on a lake I was fishing. Recorded several sections getting to his swim, set up and eventually at least three action cameras around his bivvy plus a chest mounted point of view cam as well. Didn't see him catch anything, perhaps he didn't have enough time to fish properly!
