I have these too and they are brilliant (literally!)Why not get battery operated tip lights from Temu along with batteries from Ali express they clip on and super bright you can’t fail to see them
Iv got those now ,used them for two seasons,I'm just wonting a light I can leave on rod and forget about, without faffing about and without the risk of wrap ups,iv had a few resulting in crack offs on the cast.I have these too and they are brilliant (literally!)
Great idea Paul, I will try that on the Pats tomorrow.I only add this as an idea, although it didn't actually work for me as I like to keep my rods very low and I couldn't see them.

Uses two Enterprise Night Light holders and an Enterprise isotope - so you can try this without much effort and won't damage the rod, and remove if (like me) it dodsn't give you the viewing angle you want.
Not had any problems with mine, though I used to get occasional wraps with the Enterprise ones. In the past I did modify a pair of Fox rods using shrink tube. Took tip ring off, then sleeved with white shrink tube before fitting the isotope using clear shrink tube. Definitely not as visible as the Temu ones I now use.Iv got those now ,used them for two seasons,I'm just wonting a light I can leave on rod and forget about, without faffing about and without the risk of wrap ups,iv had a few resulting in crack offs on the cast.
Are you sharing any pictures Rob.Quick update,I've shrink wrapped the isotopes on whipped and painted and replaced the tip ring,I'm more than happy with the resukt considering iv never even whipped an rod eye on before, just got to try them fishing now.
I will do Richard, but please bear in mind I'm a agricultural fitting engineer, not a rod builder!!!!Are you sharing any pictures Rob.
I would never criticize RobertI will do Richard, but please bear in mind I'm an agricultural fitting engineer, not a rod builder!!!!
I would never criticize Robert
I think it’s brilliant that you’ve had a go and I think it would encourage others to try it
Cheers richard, here's the finished product, just a couple more coats of paint needed I thinkI would never criticize Robert

They look fabulous Robert.Cheers richard, here's the finished product, just a couple more coats of paint needed I think
Cheers Richard, now iv done it once iv got the confidence to do it again and I know where I could make improvements on my whipping and finish, they are on my Korum rods......I wouldn't touch them if they were DLST custom builds!!They look fabulous Robert.
Really great job and your gonna see those really well any time of day or night
You can buy 4:1 shrink tube nowadays which should comfortably go over the tip rings if they ain’t huge and still shrink down to the right size. It could save you a job of removing them if you do any more in the futureCheers Richard, now iv done it once iv got the confidence to do it again and I know where I could make improvements on my whipping and finish, they are on my Korum rods......I wouldn't touch them if they were DLST custom builds!!
Why not Robert? If you put them behind the first eye along from the tip you won't get many wrap rounds. Sure it's not quite as sensitive as by the tip but for Barbel does it really matter? You'll still see knocks and rattles well enough if you fish with a nice fine tip rod such as a Torrix Specialist ( other rods are available!)I'm using similar, but never really got on with them tbh!
Thanks for the reply
Too meny edges on them and had a few wrap ups,so fell out with them. Why not Robert? If you put them behind the first eye along from the tip you won't get many wrap rounds.
