On a political point of view in answer to your original post .. the main problem for angling is natural England they are a quango so if you need to get rid of quangos i would suggest reform….. other political party’s are available
It’s been going on for 3 years on the nene and the EA and angling trust have been useless even worse is natural englands take on it they are saying no need to relocate the seals because there’s plenty more fish upstream
