If you use the uni to uni (grinner to grinner - same knot) when tying a combi rig with hooklength line to the thinner dia braid, it is always best to double over the braid when tying the braid uni knot.
I just checked it out Lewis, there are some very interesting stories on their manuscript page and their boilie needles are very collectable, thanks for posting.

I use long a shank hook size 6, 2 lobworms, hook each one twice through towards each end of worm, cut through middle of each worm with scissors to release scent and secure on hook with either plastic maggot or small piece of wide, soft rubber band.
