So, had a rather nice pint of this in Reading today. A fellow barbel fishing mate who is no longer with us always used to go on about it but I'd never seen it until today.
Nick Tigwell, this is for you.
Pretty sure I've got a 12' Tremor Float somewhere. It says 1lb 6oz on the butt section but I doubt it's that.
Used it for wildies at a local lake some years ago.
A lovely rod, very light with decent backbone.
Would be really interested if anyone has any details of blank used etc.
Cheers,
Steve...
I use a River Tamer for this type of fishing. The only thing I would say, is the handle is too long. Years ago, I had a Harrison 1lb 6oz made up with a 20" handle (so it didn't overhang my elbow) which was perfect.....wish I hadn't sold it now 🙄
Make sure the rod you choose for rolling meat has...
I've had one for a few seasons now. Had barbel to 15+ on it. I like the supplied quiver for the feeder but find a 1.5oz tip more suited to my winter chub fishing.
My only gripe would be that the handle is a bit long for touch ledgering (for me anyway 😁)
Superb rod, you will not be dissapointed...
Very kind GE.
The sections fit in the IM9 case I currently have but I still want to use that for the 13 footer.
I'll take that off you please.
If you're down here soon, we'll meet up (my round 😁), otherwise, when my back is better I shall pop up your way for a fish 👍
Steve
