I suspect that the main reason it was so good for chub was the inclusion of Trigarol (basically chicken liver in powdered and liquid form) and if there is one thing chub like most of all it's chicken. For example DT Baits Pukka Fish & Oily Chicken contains poultry meal and a lovely chicken...
It was changed before the new owners took over. You can't get half of the ingredients that were in it. What they are selling now is not the original Trigga.
Trigga is not the same as it used to be. Ingredients have been swapped out for others. It would cost a fortune to make the original these days (according to Dave Moore).
Can't find a Century Pulse TW 11ft Barbel rod in my records. Either it was custom made (possible but unlikely) or one of the following -

I would absolutely recommend looking at carp rods of the past circa 1990's. Shimano amongst others did some great rods in lower test curves (Twin Powers, Power Loops, Aeros, etc). You will find they do the job just as well and you might save a bob or two.
