    Wanted,greys prodigy barbel rod,12ft 2lb tc.

Would think it worth around £100 looking at sold eBay prices ...I,m based in Aldershot although will be in Hereford for a week at the end of the month so could be picked up from there ...I won't be prepared to post the rod as having read some of the horror stories on the site about rod postage

    River Wye Cabalva

Hi Al ...head downstream from the cottage approx 500m you will find a large pool with a massive fallen tree (assuming its still there) over on the far bank... fish out towards the tree roots you should have some barbel from that swim... I last fished it around 6-7 years ago and had some nice...

    Barbel float Rod difference Diawa

Hi Graham ..yes I,d like to think it would handle a DF barbel ... I normally use 6lb line with it but you can use up to 8lb line according to the Daiwa specification

    Barbel float Rod difference Diawa

I have a Daiwa connoisseur 15 foot power float (current model) use it for trotting and tench fishing its a decent rod I,ve not had any barbel on it yet, have had chub to 5lb and tench to 6lb on it with no problems at all ...it feels good in the hand and light enough to hold all day
