I have the Tricast Trilogy xs 14ft and use it for my chub and grayling fishing. It is very light (155g) and well balanced. I’ve had plenty of barbel on it whilst chub fishing but it’s ideally suited to less powerful quarry. Similar in power to the Drennan Acolyte Plus I’d say. Excellent rod imho.

I was offered the Specialist 15ft when I bought the Supero 15ft and decided on the latter because it was more powerful and is a 3 piece (Specialist is a 4). The seller had the Hardy catalogue and I think the Supero was rated to 8lb line.

I may be wrong but I don’t think they did a 15ft specimen, 13ft was the longest.

This rod is an ideal trotting rod for barbel and chub, with plenty of power in the blank. It’s in excellent condition and comes in a corduroy tube. The rod bag it comes in is not original though, it is for the 14ft version of this rod but it still works ok. Collection or could meet up near...

I have a Hardy Marksman Supero 15ft I’d consider selling. It’s in excellent condition with the original tube but not original bag (it has the 14ft bag 🤷🏽‍♂️). I can send pics if interested.

I have a Tricast xs 14ft which if I’m planning on doing a full days trotting is my no.1 rod. It’s as light as a feather and has landed several barbel and a river carp when chub fishing. If I broke it I buy it again.

Transporter 4 motion for me, super comfy to drive (I have a bad back) and can keep loads of different set ups in the back. Love it.

I switched to it this year and prefer it to gr60 and synchro. Use 10lb for barbel and tench fishing.
