An update on my trip to the Trent I found the Stretch of river comfortable to to fish with steps down to the rivers edge and can say I had a lovely barbel not a big un but big enough. Looking forward to returning and thank you for your helpful advice.

I have recently seen that reel on offer 5000-c size it does seem to fit what I am looking for a nice deep spool . I have noted the discussion dates, can any one give me an update after some years as to how they feel about them now?.

I have to agree Johnson Ross are up there with the best when it comes to after sales service in my experience .
