BBC radio 4 last week had a scientist on who said beavers were responsible for causing ice to melt in the arctic circle as their dams were raising river and lake levels therefore melting surrounding ice which then gets into rivers and lakes and further raises the levels etc. ironically 5 minutes...

Hi Graham, just seen the above. I too am a lover of the 2.25 powermesh especially the older models and I have an original twin tip specialist powermesh. Having fished both I would say that the chimera has a nicer action in the tip than the powermesh and would be less likely to cause hook pulls...

Hi, depends on the characteristics of the particular blank, action test curve etc and just what type of use you’ll be putting it to. I think that they’ll be well put together and a quality product but you need to make sure they’ll suit your purpose. If you ring Harrison’s they’re incredibly helpful.
