Anyone been barbel fishing in portugal booked a day with Tightlines-Portugal - Fishing in Algarve Bloke told me great fighters and some of the different species to our barbel go to 40lb! any info would be great cheers :)

I been doing abit of carp fishing at a local private pool heres a 13lb mirror i got first cast of the 2 hour evening session today sorry about pics had no one with me!:D

my local place will only allow you to use there own pellets, they are just low oil carp pellets.

Yeah thats it rob, well im up newtown powys neally every weekend and lonely on a sat while the mrs is shopping so ill have lots of spare time for the upper severn:) the place fascinates me! roll on june!

thanks for the reply mate, i went there a few weeks ago and had a look, one of the locals said theres been alot of poaching there aswell! looks a lovely stretch and probably wouldnt even see another angler on the day shame its not as good as it used to be! i tryed pool quay before the season...
