I do understand why there is a close season and the reason for it. But now the decline of fishing is common on most rivers these days can't really see the point for one. If the EA still want one in place on are rivers why not try having it a couple of months early instead. Just a thought...
Tried all sorts of baits and flavours over the years.Got some paste at the moment that a member sent me to try and its been hit and miss when ive been out. Still not found anything better than Mainline Active 8;) ,or maybe its just me.

A 5lb+ chub would be specimen on the Avon for sure :eek::eek:.Can't seem to find the chub like there use to be years ago,not sure where they've gone or it mite just be me but there not in there numbers any more :confused::confused:

I have tried the paste coils along time ago but found the cork ball the best way. I do fish a venue that does get fished alot.Wrapping the paste around a pellet or boilie seems to be used by everyone so doing something different does make difference.
Even popping the paste just off bottom with...
