Because they are selling it? Although it is completely unnecessary and useless, the last thing I want to do is to tie any thing in the middle of the river. Also the baiting needles, you don’t need to hair rig meat/corn when trotting
To me the problem of the cadence one is the inner isn’t waterproof, great for boilies, pellet, but for maggots, corn, emmmm, I would use one build with EVA
I just saw this during lunch break. The first thought that came to me was that it seems convenient, but the bait would spread all over the place when playing a fish. But I still want to give credit to the Korum. At least they are trying to do something for the roving anglers...
I have the mkii, not use it much these days, simply because I found casting with it a bit hard, and yes, I cast further with wallies casting. I spool it in Ray Walton’s way, lots backup, and around 100m 0.2mm braid right to the edge of the spool (yes, like what you do for fix spool reel)...
I remember on a 20mm, the weight difference between a minima style ring and Fuji sic is nearly 2g, considering the size difference, I would guess 10-15g for 15-17 rings.
I am going to start my canal chubbing when it’s a bit warmer. Tried this in last few closed seasons, caught a lot small ones, but not a single one over a pound…
The use this kind of ring to reduce the weight of the rod, but like many of you guys, I don’t like and trust these rings, the worst I’ve seen is the line cut a small groove on the ring.
