It's not so much the rods and reels. It's a fact that unless you have a fish finder and bait boat, you'll never catch anyway.

Phil. It just reminded me of perfect Dorset fishing days. Catching Chub and Barbel on Severals and Meeting Pals on Throop. Long forgotten days when you could drive there and in Hampshire with an average speed of more than 5 mph. Where Speed Cameras didn't exist every mile and when roundabouts...
