    Trigger ice base mix with as much salmon oil in it as you can get it to take. This is very easy to make and produces a lovely stiff paste that can be wrapped around a pellet or boile.     Yes it is Mark, in fact not doing so is exactly why I had to send my reel for a service in the first place. The washers perish when left under compression for extended periods, I suspect this is due to temperature variation??
