not sure of the etiquette here, but thought it good as a new member to say hello to everyone.

i've joined the forum after a 30 year break from the barbel! As a teenager i fished around Dorset/Hampshire for barbel, but got lost in fishing for big carp and pike until now. I now live close to a prolific barbel river, and as they say a change is as good as a rest so i'm full of enthusiasm for the coming river season.

Marty, I most certainly will this season, am up there the same weekend by Hereford with a bunch of mates..........

There are a few from the Pit everywhere :D

On here we have Mr Williams (he's a boss man on here too :)) and that old geyser from Southport who builds rods pops in from time to time........
