bite indicator

whats happened to the art of fishing? in my opinion and its not directed at anybody using bite indicators or like (each to there own) it takes the fun out of fishing part and parcel for me is catching fish by skill not all gadgeted up on the bank loaded up by bells,alarms leds and anything else bling,just a rod with a tip and if night fishing a isotope;)

I agree. Once I'm in the bivvy with the three rods out, I need my Delkim Rx box to light up like a Xmas tree when ole Boris comes sniffing from the snags ;)

I'm with you there Lawman, I just wish they would take a little longer to get back into those snags after they've picked my hair rigged paste wrapped boilie up, it's not just about waking up but It always takes me a few minutes to get out of my sleeping bag in this weather.........

Thank heavens for 65lb power pro, at least you can generally drag em back out again!!

Cue Hugo and a 3 page lecture on the merits of touch ledgering with an old fibreglass rod and hamster wheel :D
 
pmsl at some of the comics on here!
can anyone offer me advice on how I set up my bite alarm whilst rolling meat, I'm finding it far too sensitive!!:)
