rod holdal for 3/4 piece float rods

After a bit of advice , going to spend a lot more time trotting this season , i take my lead rods to the bank in a korum folding quiver . Need advise on transporting more delicate , and more sectioned float rods ? And to take them set up , or in tubes in a holdal and set up on the bank .
Thanks

I’m using the 2 rod folding quiver for the job currently. It’s much much slimmer and taller too. You do have to be mindful when zipping it up over tall stand off butt guides but otherwise it’s quite good and very protective for 3 piece float rods

I used to put together my 3 piece rods every time but now I transport them set up in a Drennan 3 rod quiver held together with Matrix rod bands and for my J W Young Purist centrepin I bought one of their neoprene protective cases. Tip and but protectors might give them a bit more protection but so far I have not damaged a rod or reel.

thank you Richard , i hoped you’d be able to advise , got a new avenger , and i’m a little concerned about damaging it , not through fishing but transporting to the bank . thanks again . 👍🏼

thank you John , i got a 3 rod drennan quiver that i don’t use anymore , i just would rather have more protection . i’ll give it a go , but i think Richard’s advice is good, and i like the korum folding quivers . thank you

Nice rod. I met Daryl on Friday and got to have a little play with the 15ft versions as he had a prototype on him. Very nice rods indeed.
Just bare in mind you need to carefully zip it up over those tall butt guides as it’s quite snug in that area. It’s even more important with the Normarks because they are single legged and have less strength against bends. If you do this then yes it’s absolutely spot on for the job

i had normarks late 90s , match fishing days , and holdalls full of tubes , i was always careful with them .
i’ve got the 12-14 , should be perfect for the B avon above Bath
