Hi All,

After a set of 3 piece 9ft carp rods

Harrison 9ft 2.75 Stalkers
Century CQ 9ft

Does anyone have a pair they are willing to part with?

Very hard to get mate in my experience - I spend a lot of time on eBay for years
It took me over a decade to acquire the right ''travel'' rods and I had to think outside the box -

Your only option is to get them built - or get creative
Let's just say my favourite travel carp rods are not actually carp rods! -

I'm a rod builder - trained, just don't do it per se as a job (well it depends what they want) -

let me ask you - what venues are you fishing mate - are you fishing close range - and do you (like me) - not drive or have a car?
I am very well versed in travelling superlight by bike to go carp fishing for big fish

Daiwas mate - favourite set are old (very rare now) 4piece 11ft Whisker Spins made in Scotand -
They're a dream to use for carp
Also got (very impressive) 5pc 11ft Shakespeare Salt XT High Grade Carbon Bass rods at 2-4oz cwt
And a stunning little ultra compact high end Saltist Spin 8ft six pc which can also handle carp very adequately as well as most fishies - it's just a treat, fast, crisp, ultralight and finessy with unbelievably effortless casting power

Interesting

I've often wondered if/when carp fishing will take on board multi piece rods like big game fishing.

Are you using those rods straight off the shelf or have you had them re-ringed for carp fishing?
