About time, and plenty coming down tomorrow. The Ouse valley had a flood warning for weekend….and still very mild out, surely gonna be some big girls coming out - anyone braving the weather and venturing out?

The barbel are feeding mark . The rivers dropping so you should still get out mate . IlYep, Barton on W.Avon been low and clear and now it's unfishable.
I was hoping to get out in the morning too since I had a day off.
Anything like last year and that's it now till June 16th for me.
Treat yourself to a nice floodwater rodIts finding a spot to fish, I would guess a 1.5lb rod and a 2oz lead are not gonna cut it.
Then there's trying to get the car back out of Barton car park without it getting stuck in the mud![]()
I understand .. however finesse and floodwater don't go together .. it's more agriculturalI think I've bought enough rods for a life time, and to me even a current 1.75 rods feels like I could go Shark fishing with one, I much prefer lighter, more finesse feeling rods.
I'm still heading out this morning, but I don't feel confident by using just a single piece of meat but that's all I have ready.
