Just a quickie in case some have not noticed. There are 6 on ebay currently. They are in folkestone. Seen seller before. If it helps anyone perfectly happy to have a day out and collect and bring them back to mid Essex . Foc ofcourse. . I have only fished with the 2.75 but it was an exceptional blank. Offer is open for duration of listing.
 
That’s a really nice gesture Alec. Whereabouts in Essex are you, just in case I make a successful bid. I’m actually on the north east coast of Lincolnshire. You may remember me when I was selling my basias a year ago( health reasons) Do you ever travel up to the Trent?

Hi John. I live on ongar. I loved the 2.75 but just over manned for my use. I would love a 1.75, even the middle one but too old now. I am selling my peregrine provided the member likes it and travelling to Coventry on monday to meet him. I sometimes meet a friend who lives in helpringham near you. We have a day together at decoy. Not done so this year as yet for my health reasons but hope to late July early Aug. Mid Aug I will be in the cotswolds for a few days!

I didn't think they were dear. I expected 250 plus but I suppose folkestone isn't exactly handy for most to be able to drop bye.
 
Bargain tbh, Im in for a Basia 2.25, but didn't need a pair...
 
Hiya chaps, I've recovered the 'Folkestone haul' from Mike on Ebay and I'm offering the following for sale:

2 x Basia Barbel 1.75lb - Used on 4 short sessions pair - £425
2 x Basia barbel 2.25lb - Used on 2 short sessions pair - £450

2 x Powermesh Twin Tip 1.25lb - Sparingly used pair - £220
2 x Powermesh Twin Tip 1.50lb - Sparingly used pair - £220
2 x Powermesh Twin Tip 1.75lb - Sparingly used - This rod is an older variant as the 1.75lb option was discontinued pair - £220

I understand that they were bid on but he was unfortunately let down by successive couriers and unable to fulfill the orders. I'm keeping the Basia 2.75's that he originally listed but everything else is for sale.

I'm happy to post nationally in a rod tube for £25 using APC, a signed for/tracked service from the couriers that we use for work - they seem pretty reliable. Will consider splitting if you're very nice to me! I'm in Brighton if you'd prefer to collect.

I love the basia. I agreed a very keen price for the 6 , but realising that as I only wanted 1, I would have the issue of selling 5 , was just silly.
