Jim, have a search on youtube, I came across a video a couple of days ago where someone did a 20mins review of the venue. I fished it once many years ago, very snaggy in the weir pool I recall.

Yes, very snaggy in the weir pool. You're better off casting up into the pool, as opposed to across into the pool. I've heard it has become very overgrown. The swim at the end of the island used to be decent.
