Shimano Thunnus 6000.

I thought, they would have introduced a CI4 plus by now Richard.. I hope you're right, but it seems that the ci4 are just not available in the UK or most of Europe anymore , in the smaller sizes liked by UK anglers .
I'll hang on too my 2 spare 6000s for now , in the hope of a CI4 plus being introduced in the future.

To my knowledge Jim they have never been available directly from shimano to the uk.
 
I got all mine from different countries, Germany, Australia and the USA. Cheapest i got was £130 from the USA when the exchange rate was very good. A friend was in Orlando for a week and I emailed a shop to save me 2, so he could pick them up for me...
 
I did the same sort of thing Jon from Australia, 4 6000thunnus for 166 each.
Import tax at 2.5 percent . Bargain.
The 4000s are only 157!!
 
They are on sale, and even cheaper 158 for the 6000s from the fisherman's loft in my home country of N. Z ..
If you know someone who can post them on!!
 
Hi , I received my 4 Shimano Thunnus CI4 6000 reels today from down under, and an added bonus was no import duty!
Still struggling to upload pics.
I thought I'd show them off with the gomexus power knobs.
I'll try again 😀
 
Still awaiting notifications on when I can place an order for mine still....I'm after a pair also. Is there a link youd be kind enough to share please? 😊😊

We fisher folk are really a strange breed. Give us something with a bit of bling and we'll be just purring on river bank looking at our rod and reels on the rests.
Do they come with polish and maybe some tassels? 😇

Hi a family friend bought these 2 from eBay then had them sent directly from oz.
I've got 2 more arriving imminently.
But posted on from a colleague at the tackle shop.
I'm expecting import duty on these tho
