I’m getting close - think 129 in Ashfield Angling waiting list but to put things in perspective the end of the queue is 3723!!!!
Then I’ll spend some time on the Trent

Just had a quick look at the list. Most peoples names are on there multiple times. One chap put his name down 8 times at the same time on the same day.

Turned my ticket down this year after 4 years on the list! Had to give it some serious thought but I just won’t get the time to justify it, Sutton has enough for me.

Hi Paul,
Just noticed your surname of Bromilow, that was my mothers maiden name, her Dad was I believe originally from Lancashire and was a well known publican in North Wales.
Anyway good luck with your renewed passion, I hope you get one soon.

Yes the Bromilow name has spread far and wide.
There were two such families that lived in Horwich, one of which im from.
The other I know very little about.
There was a pub in Horwich called the Bromilow Arms, nick named the bonnie lassies.
3 Bromilow girls ran it many moons ago and then emigrated to the USA, one became a hairdresser to the rich and famous., one client being Al capone.😱
Anyway...
Just picked up my rucsac and the strap has snapped were the little e##ing mice have had breakfast sometime in the last 10 years 😡
Decisions,decisions.🤔
