Wellies

Hi all,

I bought a pair of these Grub boots as a result of the link on this thread. After 18 months the soles are coming away. The Aldi boots I had previously lasted years!

Has anyone else had the problem?

Cheers, Andy

After reviews on here I bought a pair of, I think, Frostlines. The sole came away after a couple of months but Grubs replaced them no bother. I did have to cut the Grubs logo out of the failed boots though.

The replacement pair are great.

Good luck!

Thanks Gus. I've emailed Grubs and will report back when I hear from them.

All the best,

I bought a pair of Dirt Boots (the neoprene type) about 10 years ago and have fished, worn them while mixing concrete and more and they are still going strong. Cheap and comfortable, i would certainly get another pair if i can destroy these!
I only bought them for a temporary measure but well pleased with how rugged they are.
In winter i wear the Fortis elements which i find great also although i bought my son a pair that leaked and were exchanged.

My Grubs are fine, Ive got three pairs and all are a few years old. I suspect just like Muckboots that to save costs the quality decreases over time which may mean the newer ones are not so good, shouldn't be like that but seen it a good few times before.
