Any views on the Solar SP C-Tech Compact Sofa Chair or is there something as as good as I do prefer a bit of comfort these days

I sat on one in the shop last year, I found it very very comfortable. It’s not heavy considering its size but it is big and bulky.

I tried a few and nothing gets near it but it would stand out a bit on the bank
 
I don't understand why chairs designed for roving etc never come with straps as if I get one hopefully there will be some way of securing one
 
I've taken the plunge after watch youtu.be videos and not a bad price delivered

I only carry a small rucksack, rod sling with a rod tube, net handle, bank sticks, folding landing net in, small lightweight korum chair with unhooking matt inside the backrest sometimes a spoon net in the folded chair and a bait bucket when needed with my free arm. My tip is to travel as light as you can making it easier to move around from swim to swim mate

Terry don’t you take 🤔 3 rods, 3 reels, rod pod, 2 bite alarms, 20 feeders, 20 leads, 10 floats, 10 packets of hooks, 3 spools of hook length material, 3 catapults, numerous items of end tackle, can of corn, can of meat, ground bait, boilies in different sizes, pellets in different sizes, large reclining chair, massive unhooking matt, huge landing net? I’m sure I’ve forgotten something! 💭 oh the massive umbrella for when it’s not going to rain 🌧️ 🤔😉🤣

I think it's very much horses for courses. When I was fishing the Teme and Warwickshire Avon a lot, where you're rotating swims, it was travel light. Rod, landing net, rucksack with unhooking mat, and bankstick. Now I'm spending increasingly more time on the Trent on longer sessions, I take the full kit and caboodle, usually barrowed to my swim, unless I can park behind my swim😀
