Does anybody fish this river? There isn't a river report for it (mods could we have one please).

I see Stewart Bloor holds the record, just wondered if there were any day ticket stretches??

Thanks in advance

This river has been on the local news lately, it has a problem with a bacteria that can cause a nasty illness to humans.

Don't drink the water....got it.

I wouldn't but then again you wouldn't have to drink it to fall ill These small intimate Rivers are best sussed out by walking the banks and digging around the local area I guess, I don't suppose anyone would share on a public forum any intimate detail .

Helluva drive from Tetbury too.

I think you’ll find that’s the Sowe near Coventry!

The Sow in Staffordshire once held a small pocket of big barbel but they are long gone. Izaak Walton may do day tickets - if not a club book is fairly cheap - if you fancy battling the odds! I’m sure there is the odd one about but I’ve not seen one for years.

Cheers for the info David.

Neil they have invented the car, plus barbel aren't the be all and end all. Some good perch and chub to be had too.

No Barbel No point :) Only joking.... I was confused when you talked of Stewart Bloor's record, I assume you meant Barbel.

But then again the local BA offers some tremendous sport for these species, and a mere long cast from Tetbury, I have had some great sport with all other species there, or if you really want small and intimate what about Brinkworth Brook?

Or the Marden

Brinkworth Brook at Gt Somerford looks mouthwatering !!! Or Semington Brook if you can find someone who will tell you how to get on it !!!??
