drennan super specialist float rod

hi ive been offered above rod,ive tried to research the rod,i cant seem to find any thing out about it,just wondered if any of you fellow anglers have had 1? just want to know if its a out an out barbel rod or can it used for other fishing thanks for help.

No idea, but have a look at it and if you feel its right for the job - give it a whirl. To be fair if its the right price - buy it anyway, you can never have too many rods!

That said, do we really need a dedicated rod for every species? I for one have been known to use my barbel rods for light carping, spinning, tench fishing etc etc....

Its very easy to get caught in the trap of buying more and more kit to improve your chances when in fact the stuff you have already will suffice quite well.

Well it going to be ideal for Barbel Carp Tench and Bream, don't think there is an out and out Barbel Float rod, witness the Drennan Tench Float Rod which makes a good Barbel Float Rod.
Love Drennan Rods, can't really go wrong I reckon, if it's the right price.
