got a question for the london based members

ive just found out that i will be in finchley for 7-10days starting from tomorrow , is it worth taking a bit of gear with me for the odd evening session ?

Stuart, check out Kings Weir or Dobbs Weir, i think they do day tickets on the Lea, big barbel present but not in numbers as I understand it.

I have no knowledge of the rivers that way at all, so sorry, no can help. I just thought someone should soften the blow by forewarning you that there are virtually NO pies down here  Sadly, apart from supermarket shoit, there are only perhaps one or two Pie shops left in the whole of London. I know, I know...it's almost impossible to believe, but sadly it's true.

I can tell you of a place that does exquisite caviar, or Foie Gras to die for....but no pies

You may have to go for a Ruby Murray Stuart :D

Cheers, Dave.

Regret the wrong side of the smoke for me Stuart, but if you ever find yourself working on the south side or north Kent give me a shout......;)

Dave , I'm wasting away down here with the shandy drinking brigade :)

Bill , lovely offer , thanks , I'll keep that in mind

It was tickets on the bank at kings weir

Lovely piece of water , just the single crayfish for me though
