Picked up a pair of these fairly cheap, would they be suitable to be used on the Severn and the ribble once they start getting abit more water in them.
Cheers for any advise folks
 
Eddie they'll be ok for the Ribble. I use 2Ib test rods all the time and there fine. Strong enough to cast a big feeder and delicate enough to flick out a 1oz bomb. I rarely have hook pulls and have fun landing fish of all shapes and sizes
