Identify this rod please.

Hi Guys
Can anyone give me some info on this rod.
MAP A 5420 ULTRA 2 .15 FOOT FLOAT ROD
How old is it and what would be the cost.

Hi Brian. I suggest it might be a Matchtec 15ft.
There were a number of multi length rods 13/15 15/17 ft as well as a few straight lengths in the Ultra II range.

Later I believe the Ultra II logo was their feeder range.

Mid 90's I think and worth around £110 with a fair wind.

Then again, I may be totally wrong🤣

Many thanks for your reply, that sounds feasible, I tried google with no success.
I hope you are well, here at Throop we are holding our breath for some decent river conditions for the coming season along with the Hampshire Avon anglers, the Avon has been flooded for many months.
Both rivers are now looking promising.

Yes end of season, in fact last few months on most rivers pretty hopeless.
Certainly when I came to fish with the Mafia!!

I've got a swap ticket near Breamore so probably be around a bit more this coming season. Be good to meet up if possible
