Coarse fishing on the Usk

I am spending a holiday in early September close to the Usk near Brecon.

I am aware the Usk is primarily a game(fly)river but wondered if coarse fishing is also permitted if not using maggots/worms?

Check out the Wye and Usk Foundation site https://www.fishingpassport.co.uk/ which should have all the information you need. Expect to pay a certain amount of money, but the benefit of that should be that you go to the best sites and avoid the masses.
