The fish-In
will take place on the Biblins stretch of the river Wye, there will be a
maximum of 35 anglers taking part.
As this
event is being arranged through the BFW (Barbel Fishing World) web site the
only species of fish to be included in the total weight will be Barbel.
The average
size of Barbel present in this stretch of river is in the 4 to 8lb class, so if
each angler was to catch say two 6lb Barbel then a total weight of 420lb could
be expected.
Obviously
this can only be a rough estimate of total weight, as conditions on the weekend
of the fish-In will play a large part in the total number of Barbel caught.
