We would like to extend a huge thank you to all those involved in raising funds for the DEC Tsunami Earthquake Appeal on BFW.

Special thanks to Matt Harvey, Andy Thatcher, Stephen Brown, Neil Wayte, All BFW's members (the list goes on) and to all those who made extra special effort towards raising money for the appeal.

We raised raise a grand total of £2,100 through the organised fish-ins across the country and also the raffle draw which is fantastic!

Trent Fish-in £100.00

Bristol Avon Fish-in £100.00

Thames Fish-in (incl money matched by bank) £630.00

Raffle Ticket Sales £1125.00

Stephen Brown Donation £145.00

GRAND TOTAL £2,100.00

We have now collected all the donations and have raised a cheque to the DEC for £1,370 which includes money from the Bristol Avon fish-in, raffle ticket sales and the Stephen Brown's generous donation. All other donations were pledged direct to the DEC by Matt Harvey and Andy Thatcher.

You are one of over 1200 individuals and companies that have registered fundraising activities for the DEC Tsunami Earthquake Appeal. The intrepid are climbing mountains and running marathons; those with self control are having sponsored slims or silences; the fun loving are holding club nights all over the country; the sophisticated are having black tie balls; and people everywhere are holding collections.

We have been overwhelmed by your generosity and creativity in raising funds for this appeal. By the time all the events we know about have been held a £300 million fund will have been created that will make a lasting difference to the survivors over years to come.

Thanks to all your efforts hundreds of thousands of people whose lives were shattered by the Tsunami have received emergency relief, and will have a chance to rebuild their lives.

We hope that you have enjoyed your fundraising and will consider supporting us again. We have certainly enjoyed working with you, and would like to contact you if we launch another disaster appeal.
