wychwood rover landing net

does anyone know a decent handle that fits this net? it has a standard male thread but that is inside the spreader block, so if cant find one, will have to return net to shop!
Cheers

I think you need the rover handle to go with this net. As you have discovered most other handles are too big to fit in recessed area which contains the male thread.

You could just saw off the plastic piece from around the outside of the thread with a junior hacksaw. I did it just before the end of last season, and after testing for nearly 18months, i can safely say it hasnt weakened the net at all. It was just a quick 2minute job too. Definitely worth doing.

Got this problem as well with a whychwood boatman net that would make a great roving net...but I bought it with a wading handle that was only 5' long.
I am sure the Pro Logic Quick Release Adaptors should enable any standard thread to screw into the net.

Hi Matthew, that's a simple solution, nice job.

How's your dad keeping, not heard anything about him for a while, give him my regards.

Hi Ade, not been doing a lot of fishing just recently to be honest. Been concentrating on exams and my dad has been busy with work! He's not too bad though. Looking forward to the new season now. Hope you're keeping well.

Fox stalker works for me just fine. Nice point on the end too, just needs cleaning every now and again to stop it locking...

Like Richard I use a Drennan Super Specialist Handle with my Wychwood net with the shrouded thread.....works a treat !!!:)
