Totally agree with Nigel. I have the Vaas winter bib and brace 175 and matching jacket.

Haglofs Roc Spirit Jacket and Rab Latok Bib Trousers, both in Goretex Pro.
Have stood out for hours in torrential rain and remained bone dry. Jacket is getting on now - perhaps 10-12yrs old.

Clothing is much of a likeness really, most brands offer quality wear.
Boots however are a different kettle.
Many top fishing brands still sell awful boots!.
My choice is Sorel.
If there good enough for the Canadians!
