Iv donated in a small way when they set up towards this little group . They are trying their best working on mine and Sue's favourite ever river . The fact that otters have smashed it to pieces is irrelevant, as it runs a muddy colour , and would love to see it run as tap clear as it did when we spent many years on it's bank .

Hi men,

I just feel there is a big push at the mo , now it's not just anglers involved , the university boat race etc highlighting the Thames , but pressure needs to be consistent and prolonged. The call for public ownership could be a distraction as it could be costly , the systems are old , designed for a lower population , and in areas traditionally more rural .

I think everyone owes Ash Smith and Peter Hammond a debt of gratitude, the work they have done goes way beyond the Windrush. They've achieved more than the entire EA in helping to tackle sewage pollution.
