What's the difference between the Shimano D and OC range

Peter Robinson

I'm considering buying a Shimano 6000D or 6000 OC,and wondered what the difference/advantage of one over the other is.
Thanks in advance.
Pete.

Not a vast amount. Beyond the colour scheme, the differences I can make out are the bail arm/roller, type of bearings and a sealed waterproof drag.

Just had a look at a website in New Zealand that gave a rough comparison. So the D has a one piece bailarm and carbon clutch material.Other than that the weight is similar and capacities the same.In the UK has the D been superceded by the DEU thus having a handle shape similar to the OC.I had read on this site that some thought the D's bailarm was easily bent, would the OC be more robust.
