whats been your most usefull purcase this year?

My rover bag. It forced me to trim down the stuff I normally take to the river which in turn encouraged me to be far more mobile. This gave me the opportunity to experience blanking at far more swims than the single swim I normally blank at.

I know some don't like the Barbel Society but getting a membership this year was a good move for me...Learn't so much from other members my all round angling as well as Barbel has improved ..
Made a few new freinds to .

Paul, who doesnt like the Barbel Society then??

My Shimano Saharas. Great value at $80 each (got them in detroit), just a shame they don't come with spare spools!

JRC Relaxer Recliner chair comfy light and strong.

No not at all and to be honest its the best chair I've ever had plus seems to cope with the larger gentleman;).

Can't think why that would attract you Clive :D

Interesting though Clive, I mean it looks long legged and high...it's certainly not one of your 'stay out of sight behind the foliage' low chairs, that's for sure...and I do kind of need that on my little river. I ask because I am sick to death of back ache and discomfort on the ones I have...and I can't afford to work through every chair on the market until I find THE chair :D

Cheers, Dave.

PS, Sorry to OP for sidetracking a little here

It's not massively tall with legs retracted in fact I kinda find it low with my dodgy knees. You can also fold down the back legs for sloping banks although its not quite as comfy as on all 4 legs

Fox specialist compact rucksack, well designed thoughtout piece off kit which made me condense the amount of unused items i used to carry. I thought yours would have been the bike? :)

trimming down from a 6 million litre rucksack, to an Aldi carrier bag, if it don,t fit in, then i don,t really need it. :D

aldi bag ! typical

no darren the bikes to play on ,fishing is serious fun:D,and will be looking at the chair clive but it needs to be light.
