Well definitely for me I guess. Temps below 5 degrees for nearly 48 hours. Very cold persistant rain for 36 hours. Winter's definitely arrived.

Yep, but I'm talking about the Ouse in flood with water temps probably below 5 degrees.

They’ll be starting to adapt to the cold water now. This high water will starting to drop off tonight/tomorrow and by Sunday the temperature would of stabilized.
there’s every chance this weekend could be very good fishing for the right man in the drivers seat.
It would be a lot worse if we’d had the rain and snow to drop the water temps but didn’t get the big rise.
The G Ouse may be a bit optimistic for barbel mind but it’s like that quite often anyway.

Cheers, 11 cubes from the bottom up are classical. Then there's shed loads of rock, prog, blues, soul, funk and jazz.

Share your sentiments on tv soaps. My misses watches them but I’d sooner stare down my bathroom plug hole for half an hour. There’s probably a whole world of greater stimulation down there if I concentrate long enough.
