Weather this week ahead

It will be arctic conditions for next weekend:eek:

Do people really go and fish for Barbel when it's so cold?? Pike, chub or Grayling for my immediate future...........

I will be on the Wasing on the maggot feeder Monday and Tuesday, in my Sundridge igllo 3 Bib and Brace and overcoat, keeps me lovely and warm Crooky.

Its a good job my foresight saw this coming, as i will be laid up for a few weeks, nursing a dodgy knee.

i'll be glad of a warm coat this week then, i hope it's not going to be like last year, snow is predicted....:(

Yep, Beany and me took the opportunity to hit the Severn today, fished well by all accounts but TBH I think it will be the last chance this year as I for one certainly can't see the logic in fishing for species in sub-optimal conditions, as there is always another more than willing to feed.;):)

It was cold today, but a 13lb 6oz barbel was taken from Throop today, well done to the capter, and that was his fourth barbel in as many days, good on you mate, a bit cold for me.

Brian Willson Throop Bailiff.

Well done to all catching at the moment, I don't mind the cold but can't be bothered to go out in the cold unless I have at least a 50:50 chance of catching.........

Well, heeding the weather forcast it'll be a pike session or two for me this weekend, as Crooky said a realistic chance of a bend in my rod is what i need to get me out in this weather. ;)

Ian.
