can anyone recomend some top quality waterproofs,was looking at the greys grxi range,but i heard its no longer around...

some places still have it in stock but they are just bringing out the newer version don't think they are stopping production.
 
I would never bother with any fishing manufacturers clothing. IMO buy your clothing from a good outdoor clothing place like cotswolds. I have a Berghaus gortex jacket and trousers, had it for 4 years now and cannot fault it. Not cheap but top quality that will last and keep you dry and warm.

If you can get them i prefer the US ARMY Cold weather goretex, you will not get better. You wont go far wrong with good old British Forces Goretex either, dont buy used as its probably been washed to death, buy new from a surplus or even better buy new from ebay. Thats if you like the camo.....style
