waterproofs advice

After many years of rewaxing etc i plan to finally chuck in the towel on my barbour jacket.

Whilst warmth would be nice , i am happy with my thermals and anyway want to be able to wear the jacket in summer where i do a lot of roving .my preference would be waterproof with hood. An option with separate trousers would be good

I am afraid i am rather naive in this area - i gather Wychwood have some good stuff ? please can someone recommend me appropriate jacket options in the budget but also middle-top price ranges ?

any advice greatly appreciated
