Waterproof jacket

Hi, any recommends for a warm waterproof jacket/coat please,

I use the prologic one. It came in a set with a thermal bib n brace. You’d probably be able to get the jacket separately mind.
it’s a very warm, thick water proof jacket.
bear in mind though it’s not going to double up as a summer coat as it’s far too warm and you can’t take any linings out of it.
As a winter only jacket it’s just the job.

I’ve been using a North Face jacket for a few seasons now, has a removable fleece liner so it’s a good year round option, totally waterproof, lightweight and a quality product.

I wouldn't trust any fishing branded jackets after several bad experiences, my current fishing jacket which is still going strong after 10 years service is a Crag Hoppers one.

I'm not a game fisherman but figured the fly fishing lads are out in the elements way more than I'll ever be
Fox equivalents were x 2 the cost
The German Flecktarn coats are also really good for the money but can be a bit of a lottery as most of them are reconditioned.
There are often some good deals on Columbia jackets which are technically excellent but perhaps not as trendy as TNF

I have an aversion to velcro - similar to scraping fingernails on a blackboard. Finding an affordable decent jacket without it seems nigh on impossible. When you do find one the hand pockets usually have cheap razor sharp zips. So, if anyone does have a currently available fully waterproof and breathable jacket without velcro and zipped hand pockets please let me know.

Sorted , got me a Ridgeline torrent jacket, reviews were good, nice long length , decent size hood , £100 , proofs in the pudding they say!
