If you take the temperature readings of the Tidal Trent would they be more or less on the middle reaches.

Good question that. The only thing I have noticed in cold weather and hot weather is the temps can rise and decrease with a good spring tide. Ie the rocks heat/cool as the tide covers and uncovers lowering or raising the temps when the rocks are covered again on an incoming spring tide.
