Sorry about the vague description gents but am putting this up for a friend of a friend.

Wanted-A fox landing net handle ( now discontinued ), green in colour, approx. 8ft in length, with twist lock system, carbon with long metal point at one end. Must be in good condition.

If anybody knows what the model is, that would be a great help also.

Dave,

It's called a Fox Stalker Big Fish extending handle, I have one, it is absolutely superb but I wouldn't part with it. Far, far better than the Drennan equivalent

Just to muddy things somewhat.
I've had two Stalker Big Fish handles and both had problems, sticking/jamming extending handles, one breaking and green lacquer flaking off.
Cheers
Bob

Dave,
Sorry, but that's what happens.
At least you can modify the inside of this handle to stop one section parting company with the other by fixing an internal cord.
Cheers

Hi bob, how do you do this;) I have one of these and twice it has stopped locking up so I've had to cut the end off and fix internal nut. I would be interested by how you have done this.

I have had one of these handles for 6 years now and never had a problem with it, I do pull it apart and let it dry out properly after use and every now and then give the inside section a wipe over to clean any debris or carbon grit off it, much like I look after my other items of kit.
