Hi Wayne, if you cannot find one,consider an Okuma LB 50, they are very similar o the epix pro, and are practically bulletproof.I use a pair on the Tidal, and on the Ribble,they are now into their 6th year of hard use, and are like new.. very good floodwater reels.I do not think for the price you will get any better.

Thanks for that Dave il check that out its mainly for a little bit of all round fishing just know that the epix pros have a great clutch, Iv been using the shimano 3500gt which is on its last legs now but has had some hammer, just don't think I'd go back to a shimano rear drag.

Hi Wayne, I can vouch for the LB 50 Clutch, not had an LB 40, but no reason to think it would be any different..front drag, very good and positive. I have had several large ( ish ) at least for me, Barbs and Pike , and the LB 50 has performed admirably.
